Srushti Dehmukh began preparing for UPSC in the final stage of her engineer diploma. In her final year of engineering, Deshmukh wondered if she'd like working in the field of engineering. The answer became more clear after she began focusing on the civil service. Her parents encouraged to study civil service and pursue a public-service career. Her motivation never waned, and remained focused solely at her dream to become an IAS. To be eligible for UPSC the candidate must put in more work. She also prepared for UPSC exams while doing her engineering studies. The preparation for the exam was carried out every day. Within a little over one month and a half the time, she was preparing for her engineering exam and completely avoided all social media. She believes that focusing on her work is crucial to be able to pass the examination for government jobs and work within the civil service. She was very focused on passing this exam and put in a lot of amount of work. Every day, she read the papers to stay on top of the latest news.
